Is Istek really free?
Yes! For personal projects, learning, and non-commercial open source work, Istek is completely free forever. We believe developer tools should be accessible to everyone.
What is a "Commercial License"?
If you use Istek in a professional capacity to do work that you get paid for (freelancing, employment at a company, building a paid product), you need a commercial license. This helps us sustain development.
What happens if I stop paying?
The Professional license includes a "lifetime fallback." If you subscribe for at least 12 months and then cancel, you can keep using the last version of Istek released during your subscription forever.
Do you offer discounts for students?
Absolutely. Students and educators can use the Professional version for free. Just contact us with your academic email address.
